My passion for macro photography began whilst completing a “ Professional Photography Course” with The Photography Institute in 2011. After gaining my diploma in 2012, I enjoyed practising and learning more about macro photography at courses with Jessops and Tip Top Photography. Following a conversation with my daughter, at a local garden centre, the name “flowerhead-photos” was born and I have been selling prints and cards at local shops and craft fairs since then.

I have always enjoyed being outdoors! From a young age I experienced the beauty of the natural world on family camping trips to the Lake District and Snowdonia and I have spent my adult life trying to escape into the countryside as often as possible. My perfect day is walking in the mountains with my family or wandering around beautiful gardens, camera in hand and finishing the day in the cafe with a good cup of tea and cake!
As a flower photographer, I am continually amazed by the delicate beauty and intricacy of flowers and I love magnifying and adjusting their details to create artistic images.

If you have enjoyed seeing my photographs and would like to provide feedback, please add your details and comments to my "Contact Us" page.

Prints and cards are now available to purchase from the "Gallery" with the options of paying online or completing a checkout form if you prefer to pay by cheque or BACS transfer.
